Get Involved

Health is a conversation that includes all of us. Here’s how to join it.

Volunteer with us

Volunteer applications are always open. Our volunteers help with resource development, research, outreach, design and content, communications and youth engagement. Tell us what you’re interested in and we’ll find a fit.

Spring Intake 2026 is open: young people aged 14 to 25 anywhere in Australia can volunteer with us. There’s no strict closing date, so apply whenever suits you. We’ll reply within 48 hours.

Want to know what volunteering with us looks like? Read our Volunteer Handbook (PDF) and our Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy (PDF).

Join the Youth Executive Council

The Youth Executive Council is the peak leadership body of Aletheia Australia. Members aged 14 to 25, from across Australia, advise on our direction, co-design resources and represent youth perspectives. Applications are open on a rolling basis and are assessed on quality, Aletheia’s current needs and team fit.

Speak another language? Our resources are translated by bilingual volunteers, and every translation is checked by a second volunteer. Sign up to translate, or to double-check translations, for Aletheia’s multilingual resources.

Share your writing or story

Pitch or submit an article, personal story, explainer, poem or idea for our digital health education. Every piece is fact-checked and reviewed for safe messaging, and you’re credited the way you choose.

Young people aged 14 to 25 can pitch a research idea, submit research they’ve done, or register interest in the Youth Research Journal. We’re also building the journal team: editors and peer reviewers aged 14 to 25, and research mentors aged 18 or over.

Be a guest on Aletheia Voices

Aletheia Voices, our podcast, is in planning. If you’re a leader in health, education, policy or government, or a young person with something to say, we’d love to hear from you.

Partner on Empower Packs

The Empower Girls’ Health Project will gift 600 packs to girls in culturally diverse and lower-socioeconomic communities across Greater Melbourne. We’re looking for product donation partners and distribution partners.

Partner with Empower →

Volunteers can also hand-design cards for some packs. Email contact@thealetheiaproject.org to get involved.

Partner with us

We work with schools, councils, youth services and community and health organisations to share resources, consult young people and co-design programs. Organisations can also request input from our executive team and youth networks through youth consultation.

Make a partnership or consultation enquiry →

Or email contact@thealetheiaproject.org and tell us a little about your organisation.

Bring our resources to your school or community

Our Voice Packs and health resources are designed to be shared. If you’re a teacher, youth worker or student leader who’d like resources for your community, get in touch and let us know who they’re for.

Follow and share

The simplest way to help is to spread the word. Follow us and share what resonates. Every share helps a young person find the words they’ve been looking for.
