Meet the Team
Aletheia is youth-led: young people design, lead and shape everything we do.
This is our Youth Executive Council in Melbourne, the team of young people behind our resources, research and campaigns. Get to know who they are and why this work matters to them.
✦Founder and Director
Leads Aletheia’s vision, partnerships and the Youth Executive Council.

Mackenzie Li
Mackenzie Li is the Founder and Director of The Aletheia Project, a youth-led organisation dedicated to advancing health literacy, equity, and self-advocacy among young people, especially young women, CALD and youth part of the LGBTQIA+ community. A passionate advocate for youth empowerment and equitable healthcare, Mackenzie has received international recognition for her work, including the Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award and Bright Future Prize, and was awarded a Victorian Youth Achiever finalist for Social Impact in 2026.
Beyond advocacy, she is an avid researcher with interests in biomechanics, neuroscience, and public health, committed to translating knowledge into meaningful social change. When she’s not working on all things youth, health or advocacy, Mackenzie can usually be found enjoying a good coffee with lots of ice (her favourite is a S’mores frappé) and making imaginary travel itineraries for all the destinations she will visit in the near future.
✦Resource Development
Creates Aletheia’s free, youth-friendly health resources, from our Voice Packs to the Self-Advocacy Journal and Health Navigator.

Rea Lexinne Tinoy
Rea is studying a Bachelor of Nursing at Deakin University. With a strong passion for youth advocacy, engagement and community service, she hopes to help CALD young people navigate and understand the healthcare system so it better serves their needs. She is excited to support Aletheia’s mission by elevating these communities’ voices in resources and initiatives. Fun fact: fried rice is the best type of rice, period.

Sahasra Policepatel
Sahasra is the Deputy of the Resource Development team and studies at The MacRobertson Girls’ High School. She is passionate about the powerful impact Aletheia’s work can have on the mindset and representation of younger generations. Aletheia builds a strong foundation to help empower individuals to take account of their health and to give voice to the concerns and experiences of young people. A fun fact about Sahasra is that she is a Lego addict, so you can usually catch her building Lego after every test.

Dumini Manikkuwadu
Dumini is one of the Youth Executive Council members at Aletheia. She studies at MacRob and, like everyone at Aletheia, is super passionate that all young people should have the resources to feel confident advocating for their health. A fun fact about Dumini is that she is still yet to try mint chocolate chip ice cream!

Sharannya Chakravorty
Sharannya is a student at John Monash Science School and a member of Aletheia’s Resource Development and Research teams. With a strong interest in science, healthcare and research, she hopes to make health information more accessible and help young people feel confident advocating for their health. She believes every young person deserves to feel heard, supported and taken seriously. In her free time, she loves tutoring, volunteering, drawing and, most of all, Bollywood dancing!

Vanshika Sridhar
Vanshika is part of the Resource Development team at Aletheia. She is passionate about (and frustrated at the lack of) autonomy and attention given to the voices of young people, especially those who are queer and/or people of colour, and is very glad Aletheia is doing something to change this. Outside of Aletheia and her studies, she enjoys reading about linguistics and birds.
